super tuesday

I had a super tuesday watching the nephew today.  Spent a good hour and a half drawing on the sidewalk with chalk.
First we had to inspect the area and make sure the lawn was flower free.

Uncle G had to show off his skills, I drew these upside down so not too bad.

The neighbor girls lend their expertise, they are semi-professional chalk drawers.

Jameson shows off his bed-head while Louie inspects the quality of our work.

Please tell me it's nap time.

In summary: Jameson is the bomb, Louie is a sleepy bum, and sidewalk chalk is the best kind of chalk.

cool, no worries, it is what it is

Small cardboard people

Anton Tang, a talented artist and blogger from Singapore, has taken to the habit of photographing plastic “cardboard people” in typical, everyday settings and environments.

The special thing about these photos is that they add life to the tiny characters, and that gives you the impression that they all have a story to tell. The photos themselves are absolutely stunning. The right combination of lighting and angles makes the “cardboard people” look average-sized and not small.
Another artist has done a similar thing by using small cement figures and placing them on the streets of several European cities.

Girls drive bad too :)

According to a news report by the Wall St Journal (read it here) teenage girls are now worse drivers than teenage boys and insurance companies are taking notice.  Rates for girls are quickly rising and may soon be close to the amounts that are charged for boys.  So young men celebrate your new found equality.

I wonder...... what could be the cause of the sudden spike in teenage girls driving dangerously????
hummmmm............. well..... Nothing is coming to my mind :)
