Old Glory by Terry Jones - Austin Area Art

Made of horseshoes and wrenches, with rebar for a nest.
Car parts and rifle buried deep in her chest.
With pistols on her back and metal files for a tail.
Twisted iron wings that never shall fail.
Pad locks and chain make feathers cold and hard.
The phoenix, arisen from the scrap metal yard.

Guardian by Herb Long - Austin Area Art

The thin but well defined mustache compliments the slender hair slicked back on his head. Eyes dim and distant. Head slightly tilted. Shoulders in permanent tension. A body and mind older than their age. In deep thought of the things he wishes he had seen and the moments he wants to forget. Hands in his pockets holding tightly to all he thinks he has, while the wind blows straight through his soul.
